Role Summary

Job Description : Responsible for designing and implementing Mavenir's scalable cloud platform infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals, security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with product teams to enable capabilities on roadmaps and blueprints, supporting platform programs and initiatives. Design, plan, and deploy AI platforms with advanced computing capabilities to support Mavenir's OpenRAN applications, ensuring scalability and performance. Implement and optimize Mavenir Digital Cloud Automation (MDCA) for streamlined, automated cloud infrastructure management, including orchestration of multi-cloud environments and resource allocation. Lead security protocol integration across all platforms, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Define infrastructure networking technologies, improve reliability and scalability of products, and document engineering aspects of the cloud platform. Collaborate with the platform team and public cloud architects to enhance data throughput and scalability of Mavenir's NextGen Converged Core products on public cloud offerings. Create solution designs, including architecture and overall integration using multi-vendor, cross-geo strategies. Provide key inputs for system requirements and architecture decisions. Validate and deploy cloud solutions in line with organizational policies and standards. This position is based in Richardson, with potential for telecommuting from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage SDN platforms, including Arista, BigSwitch, and OVN technologies
• Handle SDS solutions such as CEPH, ODF, and Portworx
• Work with Kubernetes and container platforms like Docker and OpenShift
• Develop end-to-end solutions with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud) and manage their integration
• Assess architectural artifacts and deploy CI / CD tools to enhance engineering productivity
• Implement cloud automation, security, and compliance measures
• Design and deploy 4G / 5G network architectures
• Design and deploy AI platforms

Job Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with five (5) years of experience in platform engineering and software-defined networking technologies, or a Master's degree with two (2) years of relevant experience.
