About The Position

Description :

Mandatory questionnaire required.

Candidates must be aware they are being submitted for the position and should have the job description reviewed with them.

Candidates should be flexible with scheduling and understand the client's zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.

Barriers such as upcoming vacations that would prevent compliance completion must be disclosed.

Candidates must be informed about the Pass / Fail EKG exam required for all RNs, regardless of specialty.

The position requires 3 twelve-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Every third weekend and holidays as needed will be required.

Float between facilities may be necessary.

Responsibilities will include interpretation of laboratory results, medication reconciliation, and patient health assessments.

Tasks such as dressing changes, specimen labeling, and phlebotomy will be performed as needed.

Candidates will engage in telephone triage and respond to pharmacy calls or patient refill requests.

Patient populations include individuals recovering from CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological diagnoses.

The inpatient rehabilitation department provides specialized care for patients with rehabilitation needs.

Typical patient ratios are 1 : 6.

Daily census in the unit averages around 39 patients.

Interdisciplinary support services are available, including IV teams, respiratory services, social services, and rapid response teams.

Special equipment and resources are accessible for patient care.

A full compliance file is required prior to the start date of the position.

Candidates must not have any open cases in their background check.

Local radius restrictions apply.

All candidates are subject to float as needed.

Candidates should prepare and be aware of the EKG exam requirement prior to submission.

Modules will be completed during orientation and vary in duration.
