Chart Correction Specialist

A company is looking for a Chart Correction Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities

Investigates incorrect documentation issues and resolves them to maintain accurate health records

Supports end users and communicates progress on chart corrections, ensuring collaboration among stakeholders

Responds to urgent requests and guides patients through the amendment request process in compliance with HIPAA guidelines

Required Qualifications

Associates degree in healthcare or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred

2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting required, with acute hospital experience preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including MS Access

Knowledge of electronic health records is required; Epic knowledge preferred

Experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree
