A well-established steel fabrication and architectural metal panel manufacturer with more than 60 years of industry experience is seeking a Sales Manager to lead business growth and drive revenue across key markets. Known for exceptional craftsmanship, quality, and reliability, this organization partners with leading architects, contractors, and developers to deliver high-performance building enclosure and façade solutions.
The Sales Manager will play a key role in expanding market share, developing client relationships, and driving profitable growth. This individual will manage the full sales process - from business development through project award - while collaborating closely with estimating, design, and production teams to ensure successful project delivery.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE :
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve annual revenue and growth targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with architects, contractors, and developers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through consultative selling and excellent follow-up.
- Manage the proposal and bid process, ensuring accurate and competitive estimates.
- Partner with internal departments to ensure smooth transitions from sales to project execution.
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in architectural metals and building envelope systems.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for leadership.
- Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry associations.
- Mentor and motivate team members to support a customer-focused, high-performing sales culture.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.7+ years of sales or business development experience within construction, architectural metals, steel fabrication, or related industries.Proven track record of achieving revenue goals and growing market share.Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and bid processes.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Organized, self-driven, and results-oriented.Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools; experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or related software a plus.#ZRCFS
