The Grant Writer plays a key role in securing funding by crafting compelling, accurate, and tailored grant proposals. This ongoing role supports the Grant Committee by translating organizational needs into persuasive narratives that align with funder priorities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Writes and edits grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documents in collaboration with other assigned team members.Collaborates with the Grant Committee Chair and other volunteers to gather necessary data and documentation.Tailors proposals to meet specific funder guidelines and priorities.Ensures clarity, consistency, and alignment with the organization’s mission and goals.Supports other grant writers by providing edits, comments, and suggestions to improve content for the best outcomes.KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
