Our client is an established Semiconductor Manufacturing facility in the Phoenix AZ vicinity, and are seeking an experienced Sr Environmental Engineers, to join the team and lead in building the foundation and EHS systems for the new 2M+ sq. ft. manufacturing facility site.
Seeking a Senior EHS Environmental Engineer, is responsible for the overall tasks related to the construction, operation and permitting of environmental facilities within the workplace. The Senior Engineer must accurately and reliably implement standard operating procedures for maintenance and troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing facility.
- Responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Environmental Utilities including UPW (Ultra-Pure Water), Wastewater, Organic, Inorganic, BRF, APCS (Air Pollution Control System).
- Preferred experiences in a semiconductor manufacturing environment / industry
- Ensure all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of equipment systems are attained on equipment operations, repairs, modifications, maintenance, and aligned with EPA Protection requirements
- Field and respond to EHS specific questions and concerns from facility, customer, regulators, and / or corporate requests, then investigate, elevate, report, and present on strategy solutions.
- Regularly perform inspections, GEMBAs, or assessments of the facility and HS&E programs to improve HS&E culture and awareness.
Education and Skills :
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, Civil, or related2+ years experience with Environmental systems designs in various settings including design, construction, equipment installation, operations, maintenance with site facilitiesFamiliar with EPA permitting, OSHA, ISO 14001, water, wastewater, UPW (ultra-pure water), air purification, certification process, and identify to mitigate monitored riskWorking knowledge of industry standards, codes, regulations, safety, and ability to ensure EHS adherence from design to maintenance of the site's environmental systems SOPsDemonstrates competence knowledge concerning adjacent disciplines such as automation controls, water, gas and chemical, or environmental.Act now and show your interest by applying!
