Key Responsibilities
Process bi-weekly payroll for 150-200 employees including field crews, project managers, and office staffManage certified payroll reporting for prevailing wage projectsCalculate and process union wages, benefits, and fringe contributions for multiple tradesHandle multi-state payroll tax filings and complianceMaintain accurate records for workers' compensation and liability insurance auditsProcess and track PTO, sick leave, and other time-off accrualsPrepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returnsGenerate cost reports for job costing and project analysisServe as primary contact for employee payroll inquiriesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsWhat You'll Bring
Required :
3-5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in construction or similar industryStrong knowledge of prevailing wage and certified payroll requirementsExperience with union payroll and multi-trade calculationsProficiency in payroll software (LCP Tracker, ADP, Viewpoint Vista).Advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysisUnderstanding of federal and California payroll lawsExceptional attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage high-volume, deadline-driven workloadHighly Valued :
