Accounting Manager, Cost Accounting

Salary : Up to $165K including bonus and other incentives

Overview of the Accounting Manager, Cost Accounting position
Accounting Manager, Cost Accounting opening due to internal movement within our client’s Accounting & Finance organization.
Top compensation plus long-term incentives in a role that offers exposure to business leaders throughout the company. 5+ years of experience is required, in an accounting related role, internal audit or Big 4 public accounting. CPA or MBA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing, coaching, and developing a high-performance team including performance appraisal assessments.
- Owner of the global product policies and procedures.
- Ensure activities are performed according to US GAAP.
- Provide monthly financial process results and commentary.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions.
- Oversee monthly reporting and analysis.
- Coordinate and supervise yearly calculations and global productivity analysis.
- Participate in enterprise-wide projects.
- Advise and support senior management in business decisions.
Requirements
- BS / BA degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of Big 4 or public / private experience.
- Manufacturing exp is a plus
- CPA and / or MBA preferred
- Project management skills
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance processes and controls
- Advanced Excel skills.
