If you want a job where you can use your financial management skills, be engaged in important policy work regarding workforce programs, oversee a small staff, and never be bored, this job may be for you! The person in this position acts as the agency expert on the bureau's budget, federal and state program fiscal requirements, and fiscal reporting and compliance. They ensure that program staff and partners are kept abreast of program financial issues that could have an impact on the applicable program / agency's fiscal status. The person in this position is a member of the bureau's senior leadership team and participates in policy development decisions, allocation of resources, grant writing and reporting, contracting decisions, and overall functioning of the bureau. This person is the liaison between the bureau's program operations and the Service Center's financial analysts. They oversee administrative support staff.

Minimum qualifications :
An eight (8) year combination of education and experience comprised of a Master's Degree in Business Administration or closely related field and two (2) years of responsible experience in cost, cost / benefit, and financial analysis. Directly related experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
Preference will be given to those applicants demonstrating :
Ability to develop and manage an agency budget
