Description

To regularly call on established accounts within a specific territory, promoting and selling the full range of Alabama Crown's products.

Must have overall product knowledge, properly inventory and survey the store for sales opportunities, and have a positive, mutually productive relationship with the account.

Must achieve all assigned sales goals, achieve new distribution, shelf adjacencies, cold box adjacencies and display goals.

Promote monthly programs and pricing, keep up with the market trends and conditions and be aware of competitive activities.

Sales reps should understand Alabama Crown's policies and procedures, keep accurate account records and route books, keep monthly and daily preplans and work accounts within the applicable delivery schedules.

Must be accurate in taking and placing orders and assist, when necessary, in collection and special problems.

Must communicate with suppliers in promoting and building their brands.

Must be on time to all meetings and be prepared with requested information. If called upon, they should actively participate in meeting.

Must be able to work flexible hours.

Other duties assigned.

Must be at least 21 years old.

College degree preferred, however high school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Two years outside sales experience preferred (preferably in the beverage industry).

Good oral and written communication skills.

Working knowledge of basic computer applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

Excellent interpersonal, communication, mathematics, time management and organizational skills.

Ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment.

Must be able to lift 40lbs.

Must possess a valid Alabama driver's license.

Must have reliable transportation and the ability to maintain 100 / 300 / 100 insurance limitations.

Background checks (i.e. police backgrounds, reference checks.)

Motor vehicle record will be pulled to establish employment eligibility :

1. Cannot have more than two (2) : moving violations and / or at-fault vehicle accidents (any combination) in the past three (3) years (for speeding, violations must be under 16mph)

2. Cannot have more than one (1) : speeding violation of 16-29mph OR at-fault accident in the past three (3) years

3. Cannot have a major violation such as : DUI / DWI, hit-and-run, reckless driving, and / or super speeder (29+mph) violation in the past five (5) years
