The Scheduling Specialist is responsible for performing scheduling duties for Diagnostic Services patients. Scheduling Specialists are to perform these functions while meeting the mission and of Ensemble Health Partners and all regulatory compliance requirements. They will work within the policies and processes as they are being performed across the entire organization. This position pays between $16.50 - 18.15 / hour based on experience. This position is an onsite role at Beebe - Tunnell Cancer Center in Lewes, DE.

Job Responsibilities :

• Scheduling and pre-registering patients for the appropriate procedures based on physician's orders
• Selecting accurate medical records for patient safety
• Providing proper patient instructions, pre-registering patients, obtaining and validating demographic and insurance information, while providing excellent customer service
• Point of Service collections and financial counseling functions as appropriate
• Other job related duties as required by their supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodation
