Your role will involve managing a variety of hematologic and oncologic conditions, participating in tumor boards, and collaborating with local and regional healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered treatment.

Position Details

Sovah Health, a two-hospital system located in Martinsville and Danville, is expanding! We are looking for a full-time, board-certified / board-eligible Hematologist / Oncologist to join our established team. Whether you are currently practicing or in training, we want to hear from you!

• Be part of a supportive group of Hematologists, Oncologists, APPs, and Radiation Oncologists on-site.
• Engage in bi-weekly tumor boards and clinical trial programs.
• Utilize the Aria Oncology information system.
• Manage an outpatient clinic with an average of 25-30 patients per day.
• Work with 10 infusion chairs and 2 quick chairs.
• Refer inpatient treatments to large academic centers in the area.
• Collaborate with navigators, pharmacists, lab techs, and more for comprehensive care.
• Enjoy 24 / 7 Hospitalist coverage.
• Build strong relationships with local tertiary centers.
• Join a clinic with low turnover and a true family atmosphere.
