LOADER - 2ND SHIFT

Summary :

Metal Sales is the nation's largest manufacturer of metal roofing and building systems with 21 locations across America. Our Frederick, CO branch has an opening on our production team for a Loader (Forklift Operator).

This is a permanent full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package. Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $24.00, depending on experience and up to $3.

00 of shift deferential per hour.

Regular hours for this position are Monday through Thursday 2 : 30 pm - 1 : 00 am. Overtime including working on weekends may be required.

A Loader is the last person to see the product before it gets to our customer. Each product load has a direct reflection on Metal Sales and thus accuracy and care must occur with every product load.

You'll be responsible for (but not limited to) :

• Safely operating a forklift to load Metal Sales multi-stop trucks and customer will calls as they come in.
• Ensuring product is damage free and piece counts match order.
• Visually inspecting trailer before loading and reporting anything unusual.
• Checking fluids on loading trucks.
• Assisting in unloading & loading of C / C trucks as needed.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment and assisting in other departments as needed.

The most qualified candidates will have :

• Experience working in a distribution or manufacturing environment
• Ability to safely operate a forklift
• Basic math skills, including ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to work independently and with others
• High school diploma or GED

Physical Demands and Work Environment :

• Must be able to read, hear, talk, drive lift trucks, wear PPE, and lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively
• Must be able to stand, walk, and / or sit approximately 7 u0026frac12; hours minimum per work shift
• Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in the winter and summer months
• Noise level is moderate to loud
