Job Overview
The Program Director of the Gender+ Justice Initiative (G+JI) - Georgetown University will provide visionary leadership and day-to-day oversight of the initiative's programs and operations. This role will shape and implement strategic programming, deepen partnerships across and beyond Georgetown University, and lead development and grant-seeking efforts to expand G+JI's impact and sustainability.
As a key member of G+JI's leadership team, the Program Director will work closely with the Executive Director, Faculty Co-Directors, and partners to advance G+JI's interdisciplinary mission at the intersection of research, programming, and community engagement. The role encompasses administrative oversight, program design and execution, budget and financial management, communications strategy, and resource and grant development. Work Interactions
The Program Director reports to the Executive Director of the Gender+ Justice Initiative (G+JI) and collaborates with Faculty Co-Directors, Steering Committee, Advisory Board and university partners to implement the Initiative's mission. The position supervises student assistants and serves as a key liaison across departments and with external collaborators. This role supports Georgetown's broader commitment to equity and justice through interdisciplinary programming, research, and public engagement.

Pay Range :
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is :
$54,616.00 - $100,493.33
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
