What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

Leadership : Providing guidance, direction, and support to team members.

Career Development : Engages team members in career and personal growth opportunities within their current and future positions within GM.

Develop software in C++.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop solutions to problems encountered during development.

Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications)

5+ years experience in C++ applications development.

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field.

Ability to communicate effectively assignments both written and verbally.

Ability to summarize complex problems and communicate the problems to teams or management that have a different set of technical abilities.

Ability to prioritize task and project manage.

Ability to develop multiple individuals on a team based on their current skills and behaviors to balance team goals and individual growth.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience developing applications in C++ from ground up.

Experience supervising.

Experience with project management.

Experience writing executive summaries.

Experience with hardware integration in Linux environment.
