Job description

Contract Billing Clerk

Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual seeking an exciting opportunity in finance and administration? Our client in East Hartford, CT has an immediate opening for a Contract Billing Clerk to join their dynamic team. This role offers an excellent chance to work in a fast-paced environment for a reputable organization that values precision, efficiency, and teamwork.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Preparing and sending invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance with billing terms and conditions.
  • Resolving discrepancies and addressing billing inquiries from clients and internal departments.
  • Assisting in month-end closing processes and reporting.
  • Verifying billing details, reconciling accounts, and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with company standards.

Requirements :

  • Experience : Previous experience in billing, accounting, or finance-related roles preferred.
  • Skills : Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Technology : Familiarity with billing software, Excel, and other financial tools is desirable.
  • Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills to address inquiries and collaborate with team members.
  • Education : High school diploma / GED required; additional education in accounting or business administration is a plus.
