The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is a Tribal health care organization, serving nearly 30,000 people living across rural, southwest Alaska in villages with populations from about 10 to more than 1,000. Bethel, the regional hub and location of the only hospital in the region, has a population of nearly 7,000. Position Summary : In alignment with the corporate mission, vision and values, the Director is responsible for supporting the Behavioral Health Administrator with the operations of the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation's Behavioral Health Services. The Director is responsible for supporting the Behavioral Health Administrator in designing and operating services and processes that are systematic, aligned, deployed and continuously improved, and is responsible for ensuring that all resources are aligned with the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation's pursuit of excellence.

Position Qualifications :

• Minimum Education : Master's degree required; preferred in human services or related field.
• Minimum Experience : Five years supervisory experience providing various Behavioral Health services at a satisfactory level preferred. Experience in a cross-cultural setting, preferably with Alaska Native cultures. Yup'ik speaker preferred.
• License, Certification, Registration : Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or other approved licenses in the State of Alaska preferred. If not currently licensed in the State of Alaska, a plan to obtain licensure within 6 months is required. Prefer individuals that can provide licensing supervision in the State of Alaska.
