Summary :

• Extend the services of physicians by providing assessment and management in the critical care specialty area.
• Assist in bedside surgical procedures.
• Patients are typically intubated on ventilators and / or have hemodynamic instability.
• Medical Specialties include but are not limited to primary and secondary care areas cardiology, neurology, oncology, pain management, nephrology, etc.
• Services that this position may provide include physical exam, interpreting diagnostic tests, closing incisions, managing ventilator settings, vasopressors, advanced skills, and counseling patients about treatment.
• Provide coordination and clinical services across the continuum of care for medical / surgical specialty patients.
• APPs plan and conduct ongoing education and training.
• Operate under physician directed protocols for all Advanced Practice Provider duties.
