Job descriptionConduct comprehensive physical exams and pain assessments. Diagnose and treat pain-related conditions using pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic methods. Administer interventional procedures such as joint injections, trigger point injections, and nerve blocks (training provided if needed). Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.). Develop and manage individualized treatment plans. Prescribe medications in accordance with Florida state laws. Provide patient education and counseling on pain management strategies. Collaborate with supervising physicians and refer complex cases as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings. Travel between clinic locations as needed (travel stipend may be provided). Licensed in Florida as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP) or Physician Assistant. Board certified or board eligible. Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or related field preferred. DEA license and ability to prescribe controlled substances. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to travel between clinic sites.
