This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Air & Marine Operations, NR Manassas Air & Marine Branch located in Manassas, VA. Joining Customs & Border Protection, Air & Marine Operations will allow you to use your expertise in performing a variety of mission support functions for an AMO region / center or branch / unit. This position starts at a salary of $84,601.00 (GS-11, Step 1) to $131,826.00 (GS-12, Step 10).
Major Duties Include :
- Briefing management on various budget issues with regards to AMO policy, purchase requirement and restrictions, budget deficit / surplus, and recommending resolutions to all budgetary issues.
- Paying invoices in a timely manner and resolving issues as needed ensuring all purchases are made in accordance with the Anti-Deficiency Act (ADA).
- Reviewing travel authorizations and vouchers for correctness.
- Assisting employees with their travel document submissions.
- Providing a wide range of administrative support to the Local Property Officer, Vehicle Officer (VCO) and Human Capital Mission Support Specialist.

Qualifications :
You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement.Education Substitution : Successful completion of a Ph.D. or an equivalent doctoral degree, or three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree may be substituted for experience.Additional Information :
