Production Operator

Job Summary

Nutrition & Health is seeking Operators to join our team in Gibson City, IL. As an Operator in this location, you will work in a unionized, industrial production environment. Rotating shift work, as well as weekends and holidays, are required. Twelve-hour and / or swing shifts may be required for some positions. We offer a competitive benefits package. This includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation, holiday and a bonus plan.

SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE - $2,500 for day shift hire and $3,500 for night shift hire - this will be paid out over a 1-year period

Operators begin at a starting wage of $20 per hour. After 45 days of employment, wages will increase in line with union rates.

Primary responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to :

• Operate machinery used in the production process
• Examine products to ensure compliance to quality standards
• Observe equipment operations and troubleshoot malfunctions
• Make adjustments to operating equipment
• Clean and lubricate equipment
• May be exposed to high noise areas
• May lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists or forklifts
• May load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances
• May be exposed to hazardous chemicals
