Fabricator

Overview

5+ years of experience in a modern fabrication shop. It is essential to comprehend and follow written and verbal directions in a safe and productive manner. Strong math skills with mechanical aptitude required. Well versed in projects from mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum by using blueprints, plans and shop drawings / layouts. CNC fabricating equipment experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Cut, form, weld and fabricate mill finished structures and / or finished goods.
• Set up and operate mechanical and CNC fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, drills, plasma table and torches.
• Position, align, fit and weld together parts using jigs and manually.
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and have a maintenance background.
• Use tape measures, compass, squares and micrometers to ensure proper size and diameter of raw materials and finished projects.
• Must have own tools and ability to purchase upgrades as needed. Company will supply all consumables and power tools as needed.
