Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for conducting routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment. Your role will involve developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and reduce unexpected failures. You will diagnose mechanical, low voltage electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, performing necessary repairs to minimize downtime. Additionally, you will assist in the installation of new machinery and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose mechanical, low voltage electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Navigate, maintain, and improve CMMS processes.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
• Conduct work according to lean manufacturing principles.

Work Environment

This position is set in an automotive manufacturing environment where tools are provided. Employees must participate in an annual fit test and maintain a clean-shaven appearance. The work schedule follows a night shift from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM with a rotating schedule of 3 days on, 4 days off, followed by 4 days on, 4 days off. A night shift differential is applied once officially moved to the schedule.

This is a Permanent position based out of Greenfield, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $60320.00 / yr.

Monthly Attendance Bonus : Employees can earn a monthly attendance bonus, which incentivizes regular attendance

1st month : $30; 2nd month : $40; 3rd month and after $50 every month for perfect attendance
