About the Role

As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will deliver a remarkable experience for our customers by guiding them through every step of their CarMax journey, making the process simple and seamless. You'll work collaboratively with various teams across the organization to ensure our customers enjoy a positive experience whether they're buying or selling cars. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers through every stage of the process, from sales and appraisals to test drives and financing applications.
  • Conduct vehicle assessments by collecting and recording information required for customer appraisals.
  • Receive and check in vehicles shipped to CarMax, ensuring accurate daily scanning and inventory reconciliation.
  • Perform cosmetic inspections to ensure vehicles adhere to CarMax Quality Standards.
  • Handle various administrative tasks, including generating daily reports, managing transaction paperwork, and liaising with finance companies regarding customer contracts.
  • Schedule service appointments and review repair order invoices to ensure billing accuracy.

  • Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous sales and customer service experience, particularly in retail, is preferred.
  • A valid Driver's License.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

    The hourly rate for this position is : $17.80 - $26.70.

    Benefits :

    In accordance with state law, CarMax Associates are entitled to paid sick, vacation, and holiday time.

  • Full-time hourly or commission-eligible associates can earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year and between 80 to 200 hours of vacation time depending on continuous service with the company, upon a 90-day waiting period.
  • Eligible for paid time off for 6 designated holidays and 1 floating holiday each year, with the possibility of Holiday Premium Pay if working on a holiday.
  • Full-time salaried associates have flexible paid time away benefits, subject to manager approval.
