Job description2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required. Ford Certification. Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred. B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair. Dexterity with steady hands, excellent hand-eye coordination; mechanical and troubleshooting skills with ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment. Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies. Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to improve; ability to work in a dynamic environment; team player capable of collaborating with others. Overview
We are looking for a Ford Certified Service Technician to join our growing team. The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and ASE & Ford certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so customers are informed if any additional service is needed; provide an estimate of time for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
