Job descriptionLead all on-site construction activities from mobilization to close-out. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and field personnel daily. Ensure project scope, schedule, safety plans, and quality standards are met. Maintain and update look-ahead schedules and daily logs. Oversee site safety compliance, toolbox talks, and enforcement of company and OSHA standards. Conduct site walks, inspections, punch lists, and ensure completion of deliverables. Partner with Project Manager on RFI responses, change orders, and project planning. Manage materials, deliveries, equipment, and sequencing to keep workflow efficient. Foster strong relationships with owners, architects, and inspectors. Troubleshoot field issues proactively and recommend solutions. Represent the builder with professionalism and a customer-service mindset. 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction (residential doesn't qualify) Successful track record completing retail, restaurant, hospitality, and / or interior build-out projects. Experience in fast-paced, high-end, detail-driven environments. Deep understanding of construction means and methods. Ability to read and interpret plans, schedules, and specifications. Strong subcontractor management and field coordination skills. Proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software is a plus. OSHA 30 preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across the Tri-County area. Professional communication with clients and design teams. Strong organization and problem-solving abilities. Ability to lead with authority while maintaining positive relationships. High sense of urgency and ownership—especially for fast-track work. Detail-oriented, quality-driven, and focused on maintaining brand standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder with strong leadership, excellent communication, and a track record of delivering quality projects on time and within budget.
