Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the delivery of patient care by applying skills and techniques common to the practice of practical nursing. The Licensed Practical Nurse working in Respiratory functions under the supervision of a Licensed Respiratory Therapist and performs respiratory tasks within the LPNscope of practice. Qualifications
Graduate of a School of Practical Nursing
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of nursing principles, medication administration, and patient care practices.
Proficiency in patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation.
Excellent communication skills for interactions with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
Knowledge of safety protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory requirements.
Adaptability to changes in patient care needs and healthcare practices.
Licenses and Certifications
Current BLS Certification required
License to practice as an LPN in the State of Alabama.INDRESPTHER
