Responsibilities

• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
• Work with the agent to establish and meet sales goals.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Requirements

• Must have a current and active General Lines Life and Health license
• General Lines Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
• Sales experience with a growth mindset (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Good communicator excellent listening skills and ability to explain complex information in a simple and concise manner.
• Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams
• Fearless, positive attitude, and willingness to be accountable for results.
• Organized, detailed-oriented, and excellent time-management skills.
• Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively and independently.
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to make presentations to potential customers
• Achieve mutually agreed upon sales goals
• Bilingual - Spanish required
• Candidate is expected to remain current in product changes, licensing, technical developments, and continuing education

Experience

• You are a Superstar Closer with demonstrated closing success!
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals / quotas preferred
• 1+ years of sales experience outbound calling
• 1+years of experience a life insurance agent with demonstrated closing success
• Experience with Universal Life Insurance, Whole Life Insurance, and Term Life insurance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex topics succinctly.
• Proactive, self-motivated with a drive to meet and beat objectives.
