Shipping / Receiving II - 2nd Shift

Eaton's AER MSD Mission System Division is currently seeking a Shipping / Receiving II for the 2nd shift. The hours for this role are 3 : 00pm - 12 : 30am. The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 plus a 10% shift differential per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary : Responsible for accurate physical receiving of materials / product in order to maintain integrity of inventory control. Ensure delivery of materials / product to the proper department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following. Other Duties May Be Assigned :

• Count, weigh, or measure items of incoming shipment in order to verify information against sales orders / customer requirements, bills of lading or other records
• Examine and unpack incoming or outgoing shipments, reject damaged items
• Examine incoming shipments to ensure they meet specifications
• Operate lift truck or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage area
• Check on inbound inventory and administer the processing / shipment
• Trace and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
• Responsible for monitoring the returns process
• Sort, count, identify, verify and track all material by utilizing Oracle to maintain accurate inventory records
• Verify shipments and log them according to required procedures
• Investigate and resolve situations where items received are not properly documented in the daily receipt log
• Assist management in recycling material in the warehouse
• Cooperate with representatives from other departments in the organization to provide warehouse information as requested
• Perform regular material warehouse audits to ensure that material is undamaged and maintained neatly throughout the warehouse
• Ensure that all documents and material used in the warehouse are of satisfactory quality
• Safely utilize forklifts and power jacks to move warehouse materials according to proper safety instructions and as directed
