COMPENSATION
$21.85 - $24
SUMMARY
The Ready Mix Truck Driver position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a ready-mix truck used to deliver ready-mix concrete and other associated products to construction sites while maintaining a safety-first attitude. This position requires management resources to adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures and comply with all federal and state regulations, including OSHA, MSHA, TCEQ, FMCSA, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery of Ready-Mix Concrete:
Fills water tank, checks slump of load, and cleans excess material from truck.Safely drives loaded truck to the destination on the delivery ticket and instructions from Dispatch.Ensures all delivery tickets are signed and returned to the plant.Upon arrival, inspects job sites, works with customers to obtain adequate vehicle access, and unloads material.Communicates truck status with Dispatch by use of two-way radio and encoders.Rinse chutes and rear of truck free of spilled concrete (re-hang extension chutes as necessary).Returns to same yard or other yard as instructed by Dispatch and receives new instructions.Maintain good customer relations. Act in a professional, courteous manner.Maintain a professional appearance.Assists in training of co-workers as needed.Vehicle Maintenance:

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Educational requirement can be waived instead of work experience.). Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with a valid medical card. Meet minimum M.V.R. requirements. Ability to provide high standards of customer service. Ability to clean all areas on the vehicle, climb a ladder to inspect loads, and hang extension chutes. Satisfactory work attendance record.
Computer Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office products and some ability to adapt to other computer software.
