This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities
- You will conduct Explosives Safety Inspections (ESIs) at Navy shore activities and Shipboard Explosives Safety Inspections (SESIs) on all classes of ships and submarines.
- You will conduct inspections and evaluations of facilities, ranges, ships, and physical security measures to ensure compliance with Department of the Navy (DoN) explosives safety criteria.
- You will participate in the NOSSA Job Qualification Requirement training program to develop skills for successful mission execution.
- You will provide advice regarding DoN explosives safety criteria during both ashore and afloat ESIs.
- You will serve as the technical authority and functional lead for inspections and evaluations of ashore and afloat ESIs.
- You will participate in the validation DoN explosives safety inspection criteria for both ashore and afloat activities.
- You will present briefs to senior management on ESIs, SESIs, and Explosives Safety Technical Assist Visits.
