Investment Analyst
Fixed Income Product Management ("FIPM") at Wellington Management works closely with our fixed income investment teams, relationship teams, and business colleagues across the firm to support our clients' investment needs. Our fixed income investors span a wide range of disciplines, geographies, industries, market capitalizations, and styles. The FIPM function has three main objectives :
Investment Analysts are members of product teams, which are led by an Investment Director. They work closely with the Investment Director(s), investment teams, and business professionals on the areas described above. Responsibilities include performing analyses that ensure portfolio integrity by providing oversight of portfolio positioning, performance, and risk exposures. The individual will also contribute to the development of new investment strategies and client solutions, conduct market and competitor analysis, evaluate product overlap and capacity trends and prepare white papers and presentation materials that serve to differentiate our portfolios. Over time the individual will participate in meetings with clients, prospects and consultants to communicate our investment philosophy, strategy, positioning, and performance. The ideal candidate is a flexible problem solver with a can-do attitude, who takes ownership of issues. The individual will work closely with members of the investment team, the Client Group and other functional areas.
The Investment Analyst role is multi-faceted and requires demonstrated interest in investment topics, a passion for learning, as well as strong analytical skills. A positive, collegial attitude and high level of professionalism are essential, as are creativity, initiative, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with tight deadlines.

The base salary range for this position is : USD 65,000 - 150,000. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process. Base salary is only one component of Wellington's total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and / or Incentives, if eligible.
