Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist in hardware setup, imaging, and basic workstation configuration for Epic-related devices.
  • Support on-site validation activities alongside specialists to ensure devices are Epic-ready.
  • Conduct basic workstation checks (connectivity, login, printing, single sign-on).
  • Help update and maintain the Epic master hardware spreadsheet under direction.
  • Assist with the configuration and testing of Epic Workstation (LWS) and Print Records (EPR) following documented procedures.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting for workstation or printing issues and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
  • Participate in Epic go-live events to assist with device setup and end-user support.
  • Shadow other team members on site assessments, validations, and Epic print queue management.
  • Learn to use internal scripts and tools for validation, kiosk setup, and printer configuration.

Expected Skills / Experience

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Eagerness to learn Epic environment structure and endpoint management concepts.
  • Typically 2–4 years of IT support experience or equivalent technical training.

    This candidate will be fully on site, in a customer facing role. Someone with a great personality, go getter mindset, and looking to grow is an ideal fit. Epic and healthcare experience is not a must, but is great to have.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 / hr.
