The Role

Represents organizational unit on administrative matters. Recommends, interprets, and / or implements company and internal administrative policies and procedures. Performs as a generalist a combination of administrative tasks in such functional areas as finance, human resources, purchasing, research and development. May prepare budgeting, project scheduling, and statistical reports as required.

Must Have

Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline plus a minimum of 6 years of applicable, progressive professional and / or supervisory work experience; Master's degree and 4 years relevant experience. A combination of education and experience may be used in lieu of degree. Must be willing and able to work any shift assigned. Must be a currently active Ingalls Shipbuilding employee.

Nice to Have

Applicant must be self motivated with strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Knowledgeable of the CBA. Very familiar with START tool and process for represented timekeeping. Knowledge of machinery tooling and parts. Knowledge of Machinery processes. Demonstrated experience in managing indirect budget and labor resource planning.
