As the Director of Operations based in Henderson, NV, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our operations, plants, terminals, and mining endeavors.

About the Role :
Our Director of Operations holds a key leadership position with total responsibility for the performance of all plants, terminals, and mining operations within the region.
Reporting directly to the VP / GM of the West Division, you will lead with a focus on safety, production, maintenance, quality, financial performance, and compliance.
With a commitment to excellence, you'll ensure our operations run smoothly 24 / 7, balancing the competing needs of markets and customers while leading a team of dedicated professionals.
What You'll Do :
- Lead with Vision : Drive operational excellence across all sites, ensuring compliance, safety, and environmental standards are met or exceeded.
- Strategic Management : Develop and control budget and financial performance, emphasizing cost control and efficiency improvements.
- People Leadership : Mentor and develop a team of 7+ direct reports, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and growth.
- Drive Change : Lead change management initiatives, optimizing operations and navigating challenges with strategic agility.
- Collaborate for Success : Work closely with Sales, Logistics, and other divisions to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
Who You Are :
- Experienced Leader : With 7-10 years in Plant Management or Operations Leadership within heavy manufacturing or mining, you're adept at navigating the complexities of a 24 / 7 operational environment.
- Strategic Thinker : A background in Engineering, Business, or Finance, paired with a strong understanding of cost accounting and financial statements, equips you to drive strategic decisions.
- Change Agent : Your experience with lean manufacturing and a proven ability to lead through change management initiatives make you an ideal candidate to lead our operations into the future.
- Safety Advocate : A commitment to safety, environmental standards, and regulatory compliance is at the core of your operational philosophy.
- Communicative & Collaborative : Excellent verbal and written communication skills enable you to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Flexible & Travel-Ready : Willingness to travel up to 50% to engage with teams and operations across our vast geographic division.
