Job Summary

The Department of Enterprise Systems and Analytics offers three options in its B.B.A. in Information Systems program : Enterprise Systems, Business Analytics and Enterprise Security.

The program is AACSB accredited and is recognized for its excellent return on investment with a high average starting salary for its graduates.

The department is a member of the SAP University Alliances and has a strong reputation for being a leading institution in Enterprise Systems curriculum.

Faculty members also participate in offering courses that support the MBA and WebMBA programs. In addition to Enterprise Systems, the department is also offering a Business Analytics option to its B.

B.A. in Information Systems students, recognizing the ever-increasing relevance of and demand for skills in analytics in the business world.

This Lecturer position will fill our teaching needs in Enterprise Systems and SAP.

Reporting to the Chair of the Department of Enterprise Systems and Analytics, the Lecturer position is primarily a teaching appointment supplemented by continued involvement in professional activities and services to the department, college, and / or University.

The Lecturer will be required to have a master's (or higher) degree and relevant industry work experience. The position is a 10-month, non-tenure-track appointment, and the salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Required Qualifications

Earned master's (e.g., MSIS, MBA, or equivalent) or higher degree by August 1, 2024, with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Information Systems or Information Technology from a regionally accredited institution.

Evidence of the potential for above-average teaching ability.

Evidence of effective communication skills.

Demonstrated substantive knowledge and proficiency in MS Office applications.

Willingness to develop SAP ERP expertise and obtain certifications needed to teach SAP courses.

Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives.

Commitment to engaging with best practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional industrycertification relevant to at least one or more areas within the IS degreeprogram.

At least one year of full-time relevant industry or consulting work experience in one or more of the following areas :
