Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cash Applications and Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist with expertise in NetSuite ERP to join our Finance team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate application of customer payments, efficient AR processes, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in high-volume cash posting and be comfortable managing various aspects of the receivables cycle, from invoicing to collections.

Hourly Rate $24.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Process and apply customer payments accurately (ACH, wire, lockbox, checks, credit card) in NetSuite.
• Reconcile unapplied cash, short payments, and overpayments with customer remittances and resolve discrepancies.
• Match payments to open invoices and ensure correct customer account allocation.
• Investigate and resolve unidentified or misapplied payments.
• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, customer service, billing) to resolve payment or account issues.
• Maintain daily cash receipts log and assist with month-end cash reconciliation.
• Monitor and manage the cash application remit inbox and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Post and reconcile journal entries related to cash receipts or AR adjustments.
• Support the automation and optimization of cash application processes in NetSuite.
