Accounts Receivable Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Coordinator to manage a portfolio of complex accounts across multiple sales channels. This role involves strategic operational management, risk assessment, and aligning future directions with business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Accounts Receivable portfolio of complex accounts across various sales channels, utilizing work queue strategies.
• Initiate customer calls, generate delinquent notices, and perform account adjustments, reconciliations, and monthly reporting.
• Evaluate and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance business and customer experience.
• Recommend and lead initiatives to achieve operational excellence in collections, customer service, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify issues, propose solutions, and improve processes, including automation opportunities.
• Analyze unpaid balances and work with customers to recommend solutions.
• Research and resolve discrepancies such as unpaid balances, short-paid balances, pricing discrepancies, deductions, misapplied payments, and credit memos.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of rebates and promotional programs related to accounts.

Work Environment

This position offers the opportunity to work remotely for a large company. The role requires the ability to meet metrics in a fully remote setting, working from 8am-5pm EST. The team comprises five full-time employees who work cohesively, value feedback, and take accountability. Collaboration and mutual support are emphasized within the team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Decatur, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00 / hr.
