A leading construction management firm is seeking a highly qualified Project Manager to oversee ground-up and renovation projects in and around NYC.

About the Role

This is a construction management position focused on planning, execution, compliance, and field delivery. Ideal candidates will bring deep experience in coastal infrastructure projects and public works.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day site operations from pre-construction through closeout, including scheduling, coordination, and subcontractor management.
• Lead water table mitigation strategies and foundation planning for a coastal construction site.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, ensuring all activities meet NYC codes, coastal requirements, and permitting standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for public agencies, including the Department of Development and Construction (DDC), the Department of Buildings (DOB), the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), and other regulatory bodies.
• Manage procurement, submittals, RFIs, safety protocols, and quality assurance in line with NYC public project standards.
• Maintain updated construction schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Monitor budgets, approve change orders, and maintain detailed progress reports.
• Enforce site safety, environmental protections, and community coordination efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
