The Institute for Justicethe National Law Firm for Libertyseeks a trustworthy, detail-oriented, temporary Seasonal Assistant to assist with a variety of fundraising tasks for the Winter season. In this position, Seasonal Assistants assist in fighting government abuse and overreach by helping our team engage with our donors via thank you letters and help maintain our database and in-house files. This position is compensated at $15 / hour and scheduling is flexible, although we do require availability of around 20-28 hours / week. This position also requires a commitment to working at IJ's headquarters office in Arlington, VA from mid-December through mid-January. Seasonal Assistants not only get an inside look at how a nonprofit manages a $40+ million fundraising operation, as well as gain valuable experience in a fun, fast-paced office environment that fights to protect Americans' civil liberties every single day.
