Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680–$1800

Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 6 beds

Patient Ratio : 3 : 1

Electronic Health Record (EHR) : Meditech

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

Orientation : Weekly, every Monday

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and alternating weekends

Strong clinical skills in critical care and acute patient management

Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical documentation skills

ICU RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care to critically ill adults in a 6-bed ICU setting

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans

Educate patients and families on ICU care, procedures, and post-discharge instructions

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech EHR

Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and Joint Commission standards
