Job Summary

The machinist will be responsible for crankcase, cylinder head, and / or general engine component remanufacturing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

The Machinist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties :

• Inspection and full remanufacturing of crankcases, cylinder heads, and / or other engine components.

Travel Demands : Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 0% depending on business needs.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

Required

Description

HS Diploma or Equivalent

3+ years' experience with general CNC Lathe and mill operations

Knowledge of inspection tools and their proper use

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Knowledge of Engines

Experience operating a Sunnen Hone & HAAS CNC vertical mill

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS :

LANGUAGE ABILITY :

Read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Write and speak simple sentences.

MATHEMATICAL ABILITY :

Add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply / divide with 10's and 100's. Perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

REASONING ABILITY :

Apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
