Shift : Saturday & Sunday 7 : 00 am - 7 : 30 pm

Hiring Range : $ 20.07 – $ 24.58 Per Hour

Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) is hiring a Pendleton Place Behavioral Health Technician to provide critical support and assistance to clients living at Pendleton Place. In this role, you will help ensure a safe, therapeutic, and respectful environment for residents, supporting daily living needs and behavioral health objectives in collaboration with a dedicated care team. The BHT also acts as a front-line liaison for staff, residents, and visitors, playing a vital role in client engagement and safety

Primary Responsibilities :

Minimum Qualifications :

EXPERIENCE : Entry level (no prior related work experience)

Valid Washington Food Handler card.

LICENSURE : Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration

Preferred Qualifications :

EDUCATION : High School Diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE : Experienced (minimum 2 years of job-related experience)

Relevant experience working with clients with severe and persistent mental illness.

Equipment Operated : Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.

Work Environment : Frequent mobility and / or sitting required for extended periods.

Mental / Physical Requirements :   While performing the job duties, the employee is required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, ascend and descend stairs, talk or listen and lift to 50 pounds. Peripheral vision is also required for this position.
