What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel. Assist with controlling access into and out of designated areas within the location. Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and client staff to promote a secure environment. Maintain clear and concise documentation of activities, incidents, and / or observations as required by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
