Description

This is a unique personal assistant position which requires a candidate with a strong sense of independence, a self starter with great reaction skills to social cues.

Someone who can anticipate the changing moods of the client from talkative to quiet time. The client is a young woman in her 40's, with acute health needs.

Her current state is quite fragile and requires a caring individual to manage her daily life, schedule meetings, drive her to appointments, purchase groceries, and run errands.

The client has a second home in Stinson Beach and will require driving to and from there.

The family can provide a household car if needed. The client has had success with male personal assistants but open to female candidates as well.

Experience Requirements

3-5 years or more years of experience working in a private home with verifiable references

Educational Requirements

  • College Degree preferred
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities

  • Acting as a first point of contact : dealing with correspondence and phone calls
  • Managing calendar and organizing meetings and appointments, booking and arranging travel as needed
  • Reminding the client of important tasks and deadlines, typing up correspondences
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures
  • Liaising with family members and other staff if needed
  • Collating and filing expenses
  • Miscellaneous tasks to support the client
  • Driving to appointments, stores, meetings
  • Grocery shopping, errands
