Established (25+ Years) Dairy Product Manufacturing Co. Seeks Estimator!

We are an established dairy product manufacturing company that has been in business for over 25 years! As we grow our team, we are looking for people who want to build long-term careers with us!

Locations : Buckeye, AZ; Turlock, CA; Jerome, ID; or Emmetsburg, IA

Who you are :

• 3-5+ years of Estimating experience
• Experience with electrical projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with plumbing projects (Plus)
• Experience in the dairy indsutry (Plus)

What you will be doing :

• Creating detailed cost estimates and proposals for dairy equipment install projects
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive bids
• Create detailed electrical quantity take offs, including labor hours
• Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and ensure that estimates are consistent with project requirements
• Prepare proposals for customers, including detailed cost breakdowns as needed
• Lead the internal review of estimated quantities, budget, and scope with upper management
• Prepare material lists and budgets to aid in execution of sold projects
• Participate in project meetings and provide ongoing support to the project team
• Track any observed differences between estimated and actual costs for future bidding purposes
• Provide viable solutions to increase project profitability
• Regularly update cost databases to accurately reflect fluctuating material and labor costs
