This position is a supervisory position that serves kid's ages 4 - 12 in a Before & After-School setting! We are looking for applicants who are organized, have an upbeat personality, a love for working with kids of various ages AND the desire to be a positive role model to our Youth!

35 hours per week

Monday through Friday

6 : 15am - 9 : 45am

2 : 00pm - 6 : 00pm

Plus planning hours

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

This position is traditionally held after the school day at the Elementary School.

• Note to all applicants : You MUST be available to work until the end of June.

Site Coordinators must meet 1 of the following categories below for the Office of Children and Family Services and additional preferred experience working with youth in preschool or UPK settings.

POSITION DATES :

September through June - in accordance with the Elementary School District Calendar. (Supplemental summer work available through Summer Camp and / or Summer Recreation)

POSITION SHIFTS :

Monday-Friday 6 : 15am-9 : 45am & 2 : 00pm-6 : 00pm. Additionally, available for staff meetings / trainings (scheduled in advance)

POSITION SUMMARY :

Under the guidance of the Youth Development Director, Site Coordinators will provide direction to children, plan program curriculum, oversee program staff, complete all OCFS required drills and inspections, and ensure the overall safety and well-being of children in the program. Site Coordinator are also responsible for making sure that their program provides a quality experience to children and families, that focuses on the YMCA values : honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring. This is a part-time position that averages less than 30 hours per week.
