POSITION : Program Control Specialist TS / SCI

LOCATION : Stafford, VA

STATUS : Full-time, on-site work

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Education : Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five years of experience supporting DoD programs (expert level with over 12 years experience is preferred) that rely on the Integrated Defense AT&L Lifecycle Management Framework; ensuring adherence to master plans and schedules; and developing solutions to program problems.

Experience : 10 plus years of professional experience in developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules for the DoD, assisting a Program Management Office with Task Books and Work Breakdown Schedules, leading DoD Acquisitions professionals supporting varying competencies (e.g., Systems Engineering, Logistics, Finance, Program Analysis).

Must be well versed in Microsoft Project and its application in the development of Integrated Master Schedules; experience in Acquisition Framework, Risk Management, COTs / GOTs material solutions and developing an Acquisition Strategy.

Must have ability to manage Programs of Record in accordance with DoD 5000 requirements.

Must have ability to provide well-developed recommendations to Program Managers.

Must be skilled in the acquisition lifecycle, process requirements, and the documentation contributed by the various competencies (engineering, logistics, etc.)

Must have experience with Integrated Master Schedule development and maintenance via MS Project and / or OnePager.

Citizenship and Clearance : U.S. Citizen with Active DoD Top Secret Clearance / SCI.

Travel : Ability to travel up to 25% to support client meetings and requirements.

Skills : Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office products; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently or with a team.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Knowledge of DoD / USMC procedures and policies in support of acquisition, logistics, and fielding activities including the preparation of military acquisition documentation, technical documentation, and data entry in spreadsheets and databases.

Knowledge in leading analytical efforts on highly complex and mission specific operational problems.

Directing and collaborating with technical teams on operational and / or developmental projects throughout the system life cycle (development of requirements to final delivery).

Knowledge and experience supporting USMC Intelligence Systems through the entirety of the Acquisitions lifecycle.

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

PRIMARY DUTIES :

Provide programmatic and analytical support with execution and management of multiple acquisition programs in various acquisition phases as defined under the DoD 5000.

Assist the Project Office with execution and management of cost, schedule, and performance parameters

Provide acquisition expertise and development / maintenance of acquisition documentation, presentation / briefing materials, coordination and action item tracking, and general day-to-day support of programmatic activities.

Support program office documentation development activities including drafting, reviewing, and updating documents, presentations, and correspondence.

Coordinate with sponsor offices, executive agents, internal and external partners, and integrators for updates and changes to the system in coordination with Program Office guidance.

Support Program Office risk management activities.

Assist in coordination and management of interoperability testing and integration activities.

Support research and development activities.

Assist with technical studies and conduct analysis of current and future requirements.

Coordinate and attend meetings and conferences, capture and prepare meeting minutes, and provide presentation / briefing support.
