Sous Chef

Job Description :

• Supervise back-of-house operations and ensure smooth execution of service.
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation across all menu items.
• Lead the kitchen team by example, training and coaching staff on recipes, techniques, and kitchen protocols.
• Support the General Manager in managing food and labor costs by monitoring prep levels, portion control, and waste.
• Manage inventory, receive orders, and ensure proper storage and labeling of all ingredients.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to improve kitchen workflow, address performance issues, and develop new menu ideas.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained and cleaned regularly.
