Location : Golden Heart Companions

We're looking for compassionate caregivers to join our day shift team, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Schedule

Full-time position : Daytime 8 : 00 AM - 8 : 00 PM, Monday-Sunday, every other week

What Your Day Will Look Like

As a valued member of our care team, you'll help create positive, enriching experiences for our clients while supporting their independence and dignity. Your role includes :

Providing personalized care with compassion and respect

Supporting daily activities like hygiene, grooming, and mobility

Creating engaging social interactions and meaningful conversations

Preparing nutritious meals and maintaining a clean living environment

Accompanying clients to appointments and community activities

Assisting with medication administration (training provided)

Maintaining detailed care records and communicating with the care team

Daily Responsibilities Include

Supporting clients with personal care needs

Managing medication reminders

Preparing meals and maintaining living spaces

Providing companionship and emotional support

Accompanying clients to appointments and activities

Documenting care and communicating with team members

Following individualized care plans

Contributing to care team meetings and planning

Physical Requirements

Role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Must be able to assist with client mobility and transfers.
